As we enter a transformative season for Black Lives, we must consider the holistic well-being of the Black Man. More specifically, we must prepare ourselves to have tough conversations with those who are apart of Gen Z (1997 to 2012) and be willing to allow the leadership of the Millennial Generation to take seats of power and influence. Both of these dynamic generations are in need of great wisdom, strong mentors, and trustworthy relationships. I AM RESILIENT is a 12 Day Devotional to revitalize the soul, restore the spirit & reaffirm the destiny & purpose of Black Men. Strong Black male leaders have provided wisdom and their own stories of trial and triumph to encourage all that take this journey of RESILIENCE!
My name is Jayvon Johnson, I am a 33 year old believer, husband, father, Nonprofit Executive and Founder, Educator and Full Spectrum Doula. I am merely a guy like many of you who desire is to live a great life and achieve amazing things!
Male Factor Infertility has taken me and my wife on an unexpected journey. It has caused us to take an inward perspective of life and our purpose. We have cried, yelled, and felt like giving up; yet our FAITH has also been increased because of this. We took on the fight and with a little bit of science, AND A WHOLE LOT OF JESUS! We welcomed Parker James Johnson on Sunday, July 28th 2020. We are not afraid of struggle, nor do we doubt the MIRACLES that will come from our life or yours being totally submitted to the Will of God. We are victorious over infertility! I want to connect with you and aid you through this road of becoming a father; becoming a better father, husband, son, brother or friend!
Whether you are supporting your spouse or you have MFI (Male Factor Infertility), taking on the difficulties of navigating being a Black Male in society, this is the place to connect and grow! This place is PECULIAR! A special place that God is using to groom us to be who He wants us to be. There are no restraints here and no questions or feeling will be pushed to the side. You need this outlet brother, so place pride to the side and utilize the community. The Peculiar Dad Network is the curated space for partners/men. We provide education, encouragement, trainings and workshops to support dads and organizations that serve fathers, aiding them in becoming more paternally inclusive
